So this Friday snuck up on me!!! I have no idea how that happened! We didn’t have a chance to put together a stop motion this week…to be honest we are still recovering from last weeks super duper epic one we put together for our 20th stop motion Friday and a killer contest that we are so excited about!
A new stop motion next week for sure!! We are excited for Karina and Franciscos wedding we are capturing on video today and then Vanessa and Adams fun wedding at The La Venta in on Sunday! It’s going to be a fun weekend! Hope you all have a blast as well!
We have been having the time of our lives shooting the stop the motion videos when we can on Fridays! We wanted to share some of the fun with you all as well!
We are skipping this weeks STOPtheMOTION because we have a big surprise planned for next weeks! I wanted to just post 4 of our favorite stop motion videos that we have come across in the past year!
Grammy award nominee, Oren Lavies, Her Morning Elegance. I swoon every time I watch this video.
Came across this one this week and it has to be one of my top favorite stop motion videos I have ever seen! It’s just too cute! It is by the ladies at Oh Joy! in recent launch of their new book Creative, INC. The ultimate guide to running a successful freelance business. Such a fun promotional idea!!
Scott showed me this one, it’s one of Coldplays recent videos. We are curious as to whether it is alllll true stop motion but we love it anyway.
When you come over to our abode for a fun gathering, the food choice is most likely going to be pizza! It’s simple, semi nutricious, and so dang yummy! We buy all of our ingredients from Trader Joes, the dough, sauce, cheese, toppings and it really just turns out perfecto! It had been awhile since we made pizza like this and I seriously indulged in every bite! I learned the hard way ( my hips did the dirty work) that I unfortunately cannot enjoy pizza like this 3 times a week ( believe me it was happening when we first moved to California) but once in a while I can enjoy my favorite dish…every morsel and crumb..and that will make me love it even more!
This summer has been a blur! One of our favorite things in the whole world is being outside. Luckily, California has an amazing back yard to play in! Everyday, Rilo and I go hiking at Runyon Canyon…it’s our bonding time. We almost didn’t do a stop motion video this week because we were so busy and didn’t have any ideas. But we had a chance to squeeze in a hike yesterday evening and captured some of the action…please forgive the poor quality.
We have something exciting planned for these stop motion fridays and we can’t wait to share it with you all soon! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! <3
Why would someone throw away a chalk board like this? We were on our way to the park to film our STOPtheMOTION Friday for today and once we passed this little gem on the side of the road, we had to think of a different idea. I am sure it will make appearances quite frequently now. I love when life throws something new at you…whether its taking part in a taco night with friends that turns into a sleepover (thanks Amanda and Mike) or scratching all plans to make a newly found treasure be a part of something special. =) Hope you all have had a great week and have an even greater weekend!!! <3
This past week 10 wedding photographers traveled to a cool hotel in the middle of wedding season to the desert to relax, swim, tan, take pictures, drink yummy drinks, eat yummy food and get to know one another! We had the time of our lives and had way more fun than any of us imagined we would! We all left tan, inspired and closer friends. =) So happy to have these amazingly talented and beautiful girls featured on this weeks STOPtheMOTION! We customized it a little more for just us!
Also! We have an awesome tumblr page going on that we were submitting pics to the whole trip and even more now since we are all home and missing it terribly! Please check it out! We had so much fun and are looking forward to sharing our experience with all of you! http://psladies.tumblr.com/
Thank you Amanda, Ala, Heidi, Heather, Ashley, Jordana, Adrienne, Megan and Jackie for the most amazing time! Looking forward to our many trips in the future! You all are so lovely and inspiring!!
We had soooo much fun on the east coast this past week! Something I love so much about Vermont is no matter where you look its pure nature. We went on this amazing hike the day before we left and it was one of the highlights of the trip. =) We went to one of Scotts favorite places in the whole world called Bingham Falls and he jumped off from a very high waterfall. He’s crazy. Now for a complete 180..I am heading to Palm Springs with a bunch of my photography girl friends to relax and melt away in the sun for a few days. It will be the cherry on top of this amazing summer of traveling all over! Hope you all have gotten to relax and enjoy your beautiful surroundings this summer!
Happy Fourth of July weekend everyone!! We are so lucky that we get to photograph and awesome backyard wedding tomorrow and Sunday morning we are heading off to the east coast, first stop Illinois and then Vermont! So excited to lay in rivers, hike mountains, and see wonderful people! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! <3
